L'indignazione per l'ordinanza fiorentina sui lavavetri ha stimolato me e una giovane compagna, assessora all'immigrazione in un comune della provincia di Bologna, a scrivere nello scorso weekend, a botta calda, una lettera aperta da inviare al Sindaco di Firenze e al Ministro Amato. Strada facendo abbiamo pensato di trasformarla in una lettera-appello e di raccogliere adesioni, soprattutto di amministratori, ma anche di cittadine/i, indignate/i quanto noi.

L'appello rimarrà aperto fino a domenica 9 e invieremo a Domenici ed Amato la lettera, corredata dalle firme che avremo raccolto fino a quel momento, lunedì 10.
Lettera aperta al Sindaco di Firenze e al Ministro Amato
“IO NON CI STO, ANZI ... NOI NON CI STIAMO!”
E’ semplicemente aberrante tentare di manipolare l’opinione pubblica confondendo gli effetti della povertà con le sue ragioni, è orribile da parte di un’amministrazione comunale colpire chi viene sfruttato per coprire l’incapacità d’individuare chi sfrutta, è pericoloso per un’amministrazione comunale e per una società amministrata, allenare ed essere allenati al disprezzo della povertà, della solidarietà sociale e dell’umana pietà .
Colpire gli ultimi per ignorare i primi è il metodo più farisaico per fingere d’imporre quella legalità sociale che tutti noi desideriamo.
Arrestare un lavavetri significa cancellare con una finzione scenica una macchia della nostra coscienza di amministratori, incapaci di far fronte al disagio sociale, cosa di nocumento assi più grande dello: “...sversamento delle lavature dei parabrezza...”dei lavavetri stessi (per utilizzare le parole dell’assessore Cioni nella ordinanza fiorentina).
Fare il lavavetri, la prostituta od il manovale in nero, non è un “mestiere”, è una scelta obbligata per chi è costretto a fare di necessità umiliazione, senza alcuna virtù.
“Mestierante” è colui che con un’ordinanza si pone il fine di cancellare la consapevolezza che la povertà esiste e volge lo sguardo altrove… Agli Uffizi… A Palazzo D’Accursio… Dipende…
Nell’epoca della caduta dei muri, delle barriere doganali, nell’era del libero commercio e della’infinita circolazione delle merci, fa riflettere che s’induca alla costruzione di muri nelle menti delle persone… muri comodi entro cui confinare tutto ciò che non piace alle persone: la povertà innanzitutto. Quella della rimozione è una strategia legittima dal punto di vista freudiano, ma dal punto di vista amministrativo è una colpa.
Crolla il muro di Berlino, ma s’innalzano quelli dei CPT, delle barriere anti spaccio e si spalancano le porte delle carceri per i lavavetri.
Questa è Libertà, Giustizia, Legalità sociale?
